Are you a versatile developer who bridges the gap between clean code and seamless site administration? We’re looking for a Web Developer who is as comfortable writing Liquid and JavaScript as they are managing complex CSV data imports and Elementor layouts.
This is a 100% remote work, full time Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM PST (Los Angeles, CA timezone)
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Maintenance & Administration: Utilize extensive knowledge of the Shopify and WordPress admin dashboards to perform ongoing maintenance, content updates, and administrative tasks. This includes proficiency in managing CSV files for product/data imports.
Redesign & Implementation: Implement site redesigns and updates across various client websites using WordPress (specifically Elementor) and Shopify, ensuring seamless visual and functional adaptation.
Custom Component Development: Develop and adjust custom website components using code, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s template language), to meet project specifications.
Technical SEO: Optimize website content and structure following technical SEO best practices
to improve search performance and visibility.
Content Management: Manage the loading and maintenance of various content types (texts, images, products) within the platforms, ensuring visual consistency and quality across all devices.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers to translate creative ideas into functional and effective web experiences, consistently meeting deadlines and technical standards.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Web Developer working with Shopify and WordPress.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
Proficiency with WordPress page builders like Elementor.
Experience in managing CSV files for platform data.
Strong understanding of technical SEO principles.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
